In the last couple of weeks we have made a few things...
We made a trip to the Cosley Petting Zoo. We met some people from our ward there and while we were waiting for them to arrive, we took a few pictures in front of the sign. That day it was almost 60 degrees. The rest of that week it stayed in the mid-40's. We definitely picked a great day to go!
For FHE we made a Gratitude Tree (an idea I stole from my Utah friend Rachael). Everyone got 4 little tags to fill out. I had to make some assumptions about what Libby was grateful for, but Soph did hers with Dad and then we tied them on. Also, Sophie got to help get the twigs, branches and leaves to fill the vase. I think it turned out pretty cute.
We made a Turkey craft. Sophie made this (with a little help from Mom) and then took the photo of me with it! Go Sophie! (Please note how she included the inside piece of the buckle...as a belly button)
Then we made another Turkey craft. This one looks kind of like a lollipop. Soph did a great job with this one too. We hung all of our crafts on the walls. For the first time, we were festive for Thanksgiving.
